Receiving Gifts is a Love Language!!!-The Gift Shop

'A Gift is something you can hold in your hand and say, " Look, he was thinking of me," or "She remembered me". You must be thinking of someone to give him a gift. The Gift itself is a symbol of that thought. And its not only the thought implanted in the mind that counts but the thought expressed in actually securing the Gift and giving it as the expression of Love. Gifts need not to be expensive, nor must they be given everyday. But for some, their worth has nothing to do with monetary value and everything to do with Love.' - Gary Chapman, The5LoveLanguages

Keeping this in mind Estudio Divino is launching its 'Gift Shop' on its website which is created to help customers get creative things to gift their loved ones and would not pinch their pockets much. Do like a product and fill the enquiry form to 'AskThePrice'.

God is the Ultimate Artist- View from 8000 feet@Bir-Billing

It was amazing falling off from the height of 8000 feet. The first few steps were crucial. My heart was racing against time. My lips were parched. I was amazed to see my young girls (11 and 7) , their unwavering faith, motivating me to trust God and run those few steps.

They were determined to fly and spread their wings and enjoy the beautiful creation from 8000 feet above. My little butterflies were daring to live their lives fully. Not even an inch of doubt they showed before they plunged into the arms of creation.

The time to take those crucial steps were coming closer. It was the time to overcome fear and exercise my faith. I knew well that it was an opportunity to see God's workmanship from above, His artistic boundaries and periphery, his sense of colours and combinations, and how the Sun obeys the command of its creator to topple over the horizon. At that time the only sound which I could hear was mine, a whispering prayer for courage to take those few step. The pilot was ready to take me off but my feet were unwilling to run on the edge to jump. I knew if I had to see what I desire to see I needed to run and trust. Trust God and trust my pilot and trust the thin reins of the glider, trust my harnesses and trust my feet. I closed my eyes and ran and in few seconds I was floating. Cool breeze was soothing my face and making me feel calm and comfortable. I slowly opened my eyes and what I saw was speechless. I was stunned by the beauty and creativity of my God. My God, I was wonderstruck. I was flying like an engle. The view was panoramic. I was in awe of Him and His beautiful creation. By now I was able to move my head around to get a wider view and was comfortable where I was. My pilot had given me a selfie stick kind of a rod with a video cam at its other end which was recording me from the time I was scared to death before jumping and in my anxiety, at that time, I forgot I was holding it firmly in my hand. Now I had gained more confidence to enjoy the view from all angles and also confident enough to move my camera stick in all directions to capture the best view as much as possible.

This experience was worth jumping from 8000 feet high. I was reminded of a scene in the movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara....I hope you all know it. :)
This was my life's first adventure sport and I am ready for the next now. Trust the creator of this creation and believe when you appreciate His art, He will feel good. I know!

I came back with a heart filled with a desire to paint what I saw and experienced. The awe and beauty!  The sight was heart-pulling, the landscape is still in my mind...I couldn't stop myself and that day after going back to the hotel,  it flowed through my brush on my canvas pad....

Celebrating Womanhood

Celebration II Dimension: 48" x 36"

'Celebration' is an expression of a woman for all the women who have always been left unheard. That precious silence is often  mistaken as Ignorance and Vulnerability whereas her silence is as loud and expressive as the  colours of this painting.
It's the celebration of being a woman who creates and nurtures life, who represents society by overcoming barriers in her field of work. She partners with men to bring about a change in the perspective of the whole world.
Celebration of Life is the essence of her existence.

Live Painting Show @theblueFROG Mumbai

Live painting with a musical band called Indiva on the theme 'Celebrating Womanhood'  to commemorate  Nirbhaya's 2nd death anniversary at blueFROG Mumbai. At the end of the event the painting was auctioned to support the IMCARES' cause.

Four-women band INDIVA singing their song 'Suno meri baat' dedicated to 'Celebrating Womanhood'

Interviewed by DNA Newspaper

It's very difficult for an artist to decide when it should be announced that the painting is complete...so it was for me.
I finally called it 'Celebration'

'Draw Me Close to You' by Kelly Carpenter -An Inspiration

Draw Me Close To You
Dimension 36" x 24"

Draw me close to you, never let me go.
I lay it all down again, to hear you say that I’m your friend.
You are my desire, no one else will do.
No one else can take your place, to feel the warmth of your embrace.
Help me find the way, bring me back to you.
You’re all I want. You’re all I’ve ever needed.
You’re all I want. Help me know you are near.

It's a beautiful song written by Kelly Carpenter. The song intensely expresses the longing for God's nearness and confirms that "there is nothing on earth I desire besides you." This song has deeply affected me and truly expressed the reality of my heart. I remember singing "You're all I want, You're all I ever needed," with deep faith and conviction. I was moved to tears at the point of realisation that how futile it is to seek joy in anything other than God Himself.

This painting is an expression of prayer to God to draw me close to Him and never let me go. Knowing fully well that no one else can take your place , to feel the warmth of your embrace. Help me find the way, bring me back to you.
